  • Connecting Families Initiative

    Families receiving the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and seniors receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) may be eligible to receive affordable high-speed Internet at a reduced cost through the Government of Canada’s Connecting Families Initiative.

  • Internet for Families

    TELUS’s Internet for Good® provides thousands of low-income families in British Columbia, and Alberta and some areas of Quebec with the tools and connectivity they need to succeed. Recipients must have children under the age of majority and be currently receiving the maximum Canada Child Benefit.

  • Internet and Mobility for Seniors

    TELUS’s programs Internet for Good® and Mobility for Good® provide low income seniors Canadian seniors receiving at least $6500 per year of the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) benefit with low-cost wireless and home Internet service.

  • Internet and Tech for People with Disabilities

    TELUS’s Internet for Good® helps by offering low-cost internet connectivity to Canadians who receive the British Columbia Persons with Disability (PWD) benefit, the Alberta Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) benefit, or the Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefit (CPPD).

  • Mobility for Indigenous Women at Risk

    BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship centres (BCAAFC) in partnership with TELUS will be distributing mobile phones to Indigenous women and girls who otherwise would not have access to cellular communication. Increasing accessibility to a mobile communication is one part of BC Friendship Centres’ strategy to prevent violence against Indigenous women and girls and improve their safety. The phones will come with one year of nationwide talk & text + data from TELUS, made possible through the TELUS Mobility for Good program. If you are a BC resident, you can apply through one of the Aboriginal Friendship Centres. Please feel free to contact us to help you with your application.

  • Internet and Mobility for Youth Aging Out of Care

    A collaboration between TELUS and Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada (CAFC) and select Centre de Jeunesse Foundations, Internet for Good® and Mobility for Good® help youth aging out of care get the connectivity they need to succeed.

  • Internet and Mobility for Refugees

    TELUS Internet for Good offers subsidized high speed broadband Internet and free smartphones to qualified government-assisted refugees residing in B.C., Alberta and some areas of Quebec and supported by their partner organizations.
